Ear piercing

The girls got their ears pierced in January. They've been saying for a year that they wanted to get their ears pierced when they were 7 (Audrey) and 5 1/2 (Avery). These milestones would have been reached next week. When they saw their cousin Ava at Christmas and she already had her ears pierced, they were ready to move it up. =)

Christmas program

Our church had its children's Christmas program on Sunday. Here are a few pix of before/during. The girls were angels and Kai was a donkey. You will only see he donkey ears in the "before" picture, because he ripped the ears off of the hat in the minutes before going on stage and then calmly handed me the rest. The pic of him walking would be him during the MIDDLE of the performance. He was a very free-spirited donkey. =) Afterwards, one of our friends told me that, because she had never seen him with the ears, she thought he was a log! =)
