Auntie Aeriale
Audrey is learning smooth moves from Aunt Aeriale. We don't want her to leave ... Audrey has also learned how to pound and how to raise the roof in the last 2 days. =) Our daughter is much cooler than she was pre-Aeriale!

Happy Anniversary

My parents were married 40 years ago today. Mom and Dad - thank you for being THE most wonderful parents! I love you so much, and I hope that Iain and I can set the same example for our children as you did for Brantley and me. (One exception ... we have no plans to watch harmonica playing on PBS at midnight)! =)
Love,
Allison
Corn on the Cob
Our friend Aeriale arrived last night. Here we are at dinner tonight ... it doesn't get much cuter than this.

Stacking blocks
I don't know how to edit these video clips, so for the moment, I have to post the entire clip, even though it might not all be riveting television. =) But we are obviously proud to show Audrey doing just about anything, even if her second attempt at stacking isn't quite as adept as the first.
Anyway, the video is from a couple of days ago, but my batteries in the camera died so I couldn't upload it.
Yesterday, she learned to say "mow" (that's mow, as in rhymes w/ cow, not mow as in to trim your grass) when you ask her what the cat says. It's quite adorable! She also has the first half of the gator chomp down ... when you ask her what the alligator says, she will raise one arm and say the first menacing "du" . We're trying to teach her that she needs to put her other hand together with the first and finish the entire "du-dun". Sorry, the "du" doesn't really translate well into writing, but you Gator fans know what I'm talking about.

More dancing!
Iain is ecstatic that she loves music and dancing so much. I'm just hoping she doesn't inherit her mom's rhythm (or serious lack thereof).
I was trying not to say too much so that you can hear the music in the background (and prove that she doesn't always just bust a move when we ask her to dance for no reason). =)

Happy Father's Day
These pix are from Father's Day ... just posting a couple of days late. We went to Campo to have a picnic and ride a train, and then stopped back by the Viejas Casino for a little fun in the kids' water jets. Don't worry ... we only let Audrey gamble a little bit.
Audrey dancing
I see that in Audrey's first two 2 blog debuts, she has no clothes on. We really do dress her and comb her hair from time to time ... it just seems that she's in an exceptionally good mood after she gets out of the bathtub and she hasn't quite made it into pj's when we break out the camcorder.
World of Blogging
OK, we've tried many different ways to keep our friends and family armed with news, photos and videos, but we haven't exactly been super-diligent with any of them. We're hoping that maybe if we move into the blogging world with everyone else, we might actually be more efficient in sharing our lives! So here goes ....
