Happy Halloween

We went to the little gym around the corner for their halloween party & had a great time!

Iain and Audrey were pilots. Iain sewed all the right patches on himself. Thanks Aunt Siz for the flight suit! Avery and I were rosebuds (we took some creative license ... the green sashes around our waists are our stems). =)

Avery hit her head on the table and had to get a little icepack for her forehead. She's fine ... no lasting marks. But I think Audrey was coveting her icepack.

And while we were there, a little girl came in in an ELMO costume!! It was awesome, and since this is Audrey's fave character, she stared and stared and finally went and gave Elmo a hug. Of course, I missed the pic, but it was so cute!

Audrey's Big Girl Bed

We switched Audrey over to her toddler bed 2 nights ago. She slept in it perfectly both nights. Today was her first time taking a nap in it, and I think she got a little turned around (she must have re-arranged her stuffed animals, and there was no room left for her to sleep) ....

Fall Festival

I really love fall festivals! We went to one on Saturday at one of the most beautiful spots in SD (at PLNU overlooking the ocean), but we got there too late for Audrey to ride the llamas or the ponies. But she got to pick out a pumpkin, pet some goats and ducks, eat some free ice-cream, and meet a new friend. Here are some pix of the pumpkins.

BFF's

We got together with some AWESOME friends of mine from Oviedo. When I met these girls 8 years ago, none of us even knew who our husbands would be. Now, between the 5 of us, we have 7 children under the age of 4! Here are several iterations of us trying to corral them all on the couch for a picture. Good times!

Pix from our Trip East

For the first 9 days of October, the 4 of us went to New London, Connecticut for Iain's 10-year CGA reunion, to Charlotte, NC for Kelley & Joe's wedding, and to Florida to see family & friends. The girls were such great travellers, and except for a missed flight to Tampa from Charlotte, the travels went off without a hitch. We had a great time seeing old friends and introducing Audrey and Avery to family they had never met.

Audrey's First Roller Coaster

I know I've been delinquent the last few weeks ... we were on a trip all over the East Coast, and I'll post some pix and videos from that trip soon! In the meantime, here are a couple of videos from gymnastics last night ... Audrey's first ever roller coaster ride and then Audrey and Avery as we were leaving class.
