Bud's Wedding!

January 24, 2009 -- Some never-before-seen behind the scenes footage of Susan & Willis' wedding. And then some video of "go-live". And then, of course, video of the 2 most beautiful non-bride girls there. =)

(Also, happy anniversary Iain. These 5 years have flown by! I admire you and I love you. I adore spending forever with you.)

Mim & Audrey Making OJ

This is during our trip to Florida last week. Audrey & Mim made orange juice most every morning, and we're all a little spoiled now!

Avery Sitting Up

Audrey's been sitting up by herself for about a week now. She's pretty stable side-to-side, but she still flies backward sometimes (hence the pillow behind her). I'll get some more flattering footage of Audrey in the next blog. =)

Retirement tribute to Professor Michael McKaughan

A professor from the Academy named Dr. "Doc" McKaughan is retiring tomorrow. He and his wife "Mom McKaughan" were my sponsor parents in New London and A FINE CHRISTIAN EXAMPLE of how married couples should act. Happy Retirement Doc!

Avery Rolls Over!

The week before Christmas, Audrey rolled from her back to her stomach for the first time. Today, she rolled from her stomach to her back for the first time!! I had put her down for a nap on her tummy (I know, I know, it's not the recommended approach, but she sleeps better that way). Anyway, when I went to get her she was on her back. What a smart girl!!

Am also attaching a pic of Audrey and Iain from 2 nights ago ... too cool for school, that girl!

Christmas in Houston

More pictures & videos are coming shortly from our trip to Florida and Texas for Christmas, I promise! Here are pix of our visit with our AWESOME friends in Houston, Mike & Kathryn, and their 3 kids. Their youngest, Wyatt, is 3 weeks older than Avery. Their 2 girls are 5 and 3, and Audrey had a superb time playing with them. My favorite time was a game of charades in their back yard ... the three girls were doing such a good job of acting out their favorite animals (Despereaux Tillings and various sorts of dinosaurs being the hands-down favorites). =) Audrey was limited to things like cats, sheep, and elephants. =)

Check out the line-up of strollers & kids at the mall food court! It was no quick feat getting NINE people out of the house!

Visiting Grandma McConnell

We visited with Grandma McConnell this afternoon in San Bernardino.
