Pictures since December
So we're a little delayed in getting pix up here. Sorry!! A lot has been going on, but I wanted to put some up before we add the next little one to our family in four weeks and I have even less time than I do now. =)
These are pix from Christmas, our trip to Italy in December/January, and a few random pix since then. Note the sparklers INSIDE THE HOUSE at the Italian New Year's Eve party. Also, the pic of Avery and Elisa leaning over what appears to be a toilet is actually a bidet (they were floating a little whale in the water ... we could tell you a hilarious story about what happened next sometime). The pic of Audrey crying in front of a wall is her in "time-out" at the Coliseum ... we felt a little guilty taking a picture of our crying daughter, but thought that it was a highly documentable moment. =)
The picture of a freezing cold-looking beach is in Pesaro, Italy. Don't ever go there. Otherwise, we had a great time in Rome with friends and based the second week out of a beautiful town called Siena (highly recommended). The girls were super travelers as always!
Also, a pic of the princesses in front of our window after the first big snowfall of 2011, and a pic of our super friends, The Tewells, with our friend Hyo-Soo from South Korea who lived with us for a couple of months at the beginning of the year.

A couple of old videos
Audrey, Avery, Ava and Mim in New Orleans at Christmas. Audrey &Avery giving a concert/dance recital earlier this month.
This Little Light of Mine
Audrey & Avery singing in the children's choir at church this morning. Don't mind the chainlink fence in the background ... it's a prop for our pastor's current sermon series.
Papa, we hope you're feeling better soon!

Avery's First Day of School
Avery started preschool this morning and besides the fact that she wouldn't kiss Iain, Audrey or I good-bye, she did fine. She walked into her classroom and never turned back. She started playing immediately and when we checked on her after dropping off Audrey, she was doing fine.
On the way to school, Audrey was telling her the things she should know. The first thing was "Aves, you can't let go of the rope." (They use a rope when walking to the playground, and I guess this was the most important thing in Audrey's mind.) Her next tip was, "You have to choose between goldfish and animal crackers for your snack."
Avery's highlight of the morning was taking her lunch and hanging it up in her cubby. She's so excited to eat lunch at school.
Here's a picture of the two girls and the four of us just before we dropped her off.
