Christmas Tree

The four of us went to Home Depot today and got a Douglas Fir. Audrey didn't really seem too interested in picking out the tree or the chainsaw they used to cut the bottom off (she was more intrigued by the water hose). We strapped it to the top of the Explorer, brought it upstairs, and then decorated. It took a few hours, since we were sort of cleaning, sort of eating, sort of decorating the whole time. Audrey was drawing pictures of something she was calling a "boat". She's quite the little artiste. We had a great time, and I am going to enjoy every minute of this Christmas season.

A couple of low-key videos of us around the house. Audrey is wearing a onesie for a 6-month old because when we were sorting clothes for Avery yesterday, she saw this one with a cat on it and just had to put it on. It's quite stylish when she's standing up ... the snaps that should snap underneath hang at about her bellybutton. But walking to the mailbox yesterday (she also had on Avery's hospital hat, that made her look like a bank robber), a girl we passed said she had never seen anyone cute!
