This Weekend

So we decided that Kai did indeed have allergies to Flower, so we returned her to her original home this weekend. Pretty sad for all of us ... she is an awesome cat! But we had a great time on the car ride with her. (Yes, we know this is not the safest way to travel with a cat. Don't judge. =) )

Luckily, the sad part of the weekend ended early and the rest was awesomely fun! We went to Phila and spent time with Iain's family. Aunt Siz and Uncle Ralph, thanks for hosting us! We had a great time as always! Heidi and Jack, great to see you guys (Jack, thanks for entertaining Kai non-stop). And Kaethe, Mike, Alison and Jessie, really fun to see your family. We failed to take many pix, but here are a few (I'm just sorry I missed a pic of Kai and Jack together and one of Iain dancing to Jack's music).

 

 

On the way home, we stopped at a nature preserve in Bel Air (Becki, we thought about you and wondered if you had been there growing up). As we walked along the boardwalk, Kai kept saying "wa-wa" and wanting to throw sticks into the river. He was very sad when we had to leave. We also saw 3 families of geese.
